Re: N3 expansion kits
What does it mean on the new Notion3 site when it says not all the released sample kits will be available for use in Notion3? I have all the released kits and would like to use all of them in Notion3. I see that many(but not all) of the kits will come bundled free of charge in Notion3, but how are y...

Re: Notion 3
Notion3 looks to be a major push forward for Notion. I am looking forward to its release date. Do you, as of yet, know when you plan to release it? Will it be a download from the Notion site? Is there going to be a cost associated with this release?
Re: NOTION 3 "wish list"
I can't get Ntempo to work. Perhaps it is me, but I find this one of the worst features in Notion. I've abandoned using it entirely.

Re: Sound Expansion kits previews and improvements.
If you want a glissandi sound in trombones, try notating(in 4/4 time) 4-5 32 second notes chromatically downward on end of the note to obtain the glissando effect. Use the 'brassy' expression.

Re: Sound Expansion kits previews and improvements.
If you are willing to tinker with notation, you can get some pretty snarly brass sounds right now. One can notate a glissando on a trombone with some degree of authencity via notation. Play around with the samples and the notation.

Re: Notion and Music Education
Conducting is generally studied in detail at the university level. However, note reading and general musicianship skills begin much earlier. Although Notion is an 'advanced' program, there is an opportunity there to introduce the software as early as grade 4 to teach notation and basic skills. Notio...

Notion and Music Education
The conducting curriculum is a nice product, but it is geared to university level students. Notion could consider creating a curriculum for elementary and secondary students; there are a lot more of them than students studying music at the university level. Market wise, this could be a smart move.

Re: Sound Expansion kits previews and improvements.
When is Notion releasing more sound kits? It's been well over a year since the last one. Notion, almost 5 years after its release, still has incomplete instrumentation: alto flute, bass flute, contrabass clarinet, and heckelphone would be nice!

Re: NOTION 3 "wish list"
There really are many things that Notion could do to improve its product. A lot have already been mentioned, but in random order: 1. Tuplet entry must be improved. Despite all the tutorials and various ways to create them, it just doesn't work. I still get 'red notes', even for a simple tuplet like ...
