Re: License question
the licenses shouldn't be locked to any particular OS. the licenser software stuff pretty much only seems to care that you have the license available :) notion is a 32 bit app, but it supports being run in a 64 bit environment...so if you can figure out a way to load the instruments outside of notio...

Re: Woodwind Trills Problem
it depends on the instrument. i think gpo allows you to trill by holding the lower note, and adding/removing the trill note as necessary. for most synths or other instruments that aren't really "trill-aware", you'd have to do midi trills the editing-intensive, old fashioned way...

Re: Move Sound library to external?
you can move the sounds to an external drive if you're using the latest version of notion3. here's how: on your external drive, create a folder called Notion, and within it a folder called Sounds. inside the Sounds folder, copy your Bundled and N2 folders (if present) from their default location in ...

Re: vocal sounds, choirs, etc
agreed wholeheartedly re: keyswitching. it's sooo much more intuitive to have your score markings control stuff. i'm way too spoiled to ever go back to the piano roll for that sort of stuff. as soon as they get midi cc editing in at least some fashion (for sweeps or the like), notion will be my midi...

Re: vocal sounds, choirs, etc
yeah, i just saw "voice"...and thought it'd be great for putting sound to a vocal/lyric track (i don't need anything fancy, just a cheesy single voice doing a short "ah" or something). i use the stock guitar sounds similarly (and this is EXCELLENT, btw...if you change either the ...

Re: Cannot get sounds from demo
P.S. Just about the only thing I don't like right now is the fact you can't drag the screen around. It's so much easier if that's possible, e.g. in MuseScore or Sibelius. would something like alt+click/drag for screen drag be acceptable? fwiw, the draggable screen in sibelius drove me up the wall t...

Re: Notion 3 EWQL templates eating too much ram
Guys, why don't u use the midi-out ports? Ok, it's only 4 midi outs, but that should cover any large orchestral template if u use keyswitched instruments. I run a full orchestra with ew pianos, SD2, choirs and a few RA instruments as needed, sometimes some MOR (tho not too often), and it all fits i...

Re: Notion 3 EWQL templates eating too much ram
2 gig's with GPO? Wow... Yes, 64 bit edition of notion needs to come very soon. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to really use notion at all. Lubo, how quick are you guys getting this out the door? yeah, i thought it was pretty crazy, too. gpo's ENTIRE installation folder (samples, patches, the w...

vocal sounds, choirs, etc
they show up in the menu for notion3 instruments in staff setup, but they're not installed, nor are they on the list for the factory sounds on the website...is this a future addon or expansion (i didn't see them there, either)?
