Notion's MIDI import seems to be really poor
This is something I expected a notation program to be on top of. Maybe I am just being silly, but the ability of a program to import MIDI (the world-wide standard for more than 50 years) is the most basic requirement of a notation program. Without it Notion's claim of being able to integrate with ot...

Sonar, Notion 3 and rewire tutorial
As promised, I got around finishing my little attempt to rewire Sonar, Notion 3 plus Vocaloid and I've put a simle tutorial together to share all the little tricks and workaround to make this work. http://www.dog-on-blues.co.za/html/the_dog-on-blues_rewire.html I am very impressed with how Notion an...

Re: Planning a Rewire Tutorial?
Lubo I have done some work on the rewire side which I think I must share with the rest. I have been busy the last few days, but over the weekend I will hopefully get the last parts together and share all my knowledge gained. You can then decide how much of it you wish to include in your tutorials. I...

Export to midi while in rewire mode
I just stumbled upon another curious thing. I am refining my workflow now. I am pretty exited as it seems to work out very well so far. I will later on post all details for those who are interested. Basically it comes down to the following: I am using Sonar 8.5, Notion, Vocaloid 1 (Miriam plus Leon)...

Default page setup
Is there a way I can change the default page size? I wish to change the page size to be A4 by default, as all our printers and paper is as a standard set to this size. It is too easy for me to forget about changing the page size every time I start a new score.

Re: Something about Guitar Staff
Great to hear that most gutar tab stuff is working well. I am still working on the score parts of the program and will soon start to make use of guitar tabs. I must agree that the notion team really needs to be congratulated on a great program. By far the easiest workflow of any notation program I e...
