Re: Problem printing dynamic parts
Bob This has bothered me before but I have not spend time to find the sollution to this. After finding your post and replying to it I started playing around, trying many different things to try and duplicate the situation that would give rise to this problem. Up to now I only came up with one possib...

Re: Problem printing dynamic parts
Ps
The workaround would be to hide or unhide parts in the setup screen. This is however a slow method if you have many parts in a score, but it does the job at least. (just be carefull to hide and not delete!)

Re: Problem printing dynamic parts
I also observed this behaviour. I may have one project file where it refuses to show the parts and the other where I can pick and choose freely. Both open at the same time. Could not figure out yet what is the difference or why it happens.

Re: OT. Scoring question
In my opinion, changing tempo is not uncommon in symphonic music. Nothing wrong with doing it. Tempo markings like "Allegro" etc. do more than just changing the beat, It most often relay a message about feeling and emotion as well. IMO it is better using those markings than changing note v...

Guitar notation grace note slide
Does anybody know if there is a way that I can use a grace note on the guitar notation to slide up to a note? Here's an example. http://www.dog-on-blues.co.za/images/Image2.jpg Just, where I have that hammer-on on the first note, I want to slide up to the first note. When I try to enter a slide, Not...

Re: Thank you for the update
Mmmm My willingness to compliment and say thank you, in no way will diminish my willingness to complain when there is reason to do so. I do believe that in a way, by being the critic, I made a positive contribution toward the betterment of society, if the criticism has in any way contributed toward ...

Thank you for the update
I want to say a thanks to Notion for the update fixing the MIDI issues. When we complained Notion said they will fix it and they did. This is a really fresh breeze to find a company who listen to their customers and respond to issues this fast. I have not had the chance yet to test all the functions...

Re: Note entry - can't have note and accidental?
astinov wrote:Hi everyone,
Just wanted to post a tip, not sure if you knew about this. If you hold Shift down as you move the mouse wheel, your score will then scroll horizontally. Also, on a Mac, you can scroll left/right with a "mighty" mouse
Just a tip!
Lubo Astinov
Thanks for that tip!!!

Re: Notion, the things I like so far.
I echo your sentiments. It is a good idea to let the the team at Notion know that the program is really great and doing the job pretty well. Thanks to all for the great program and for listening to your users.

Re: Custom Key Signatures
I'm not a proud owner of a doctorate in music, but I can see that such a function would be wonderfull in the hand of even a person like me. This just might enable me to score something like Goldenthal's Alien3, Hermann's Psyco, Davids's Matrix, etc, etc. (PS Maybe that could make it possible to nota...
