Custom Rules for Chris Hein Horns Compact (Group ID chba)
All right, folks, here is Version 0.9 of my custom rules for the Chris Hein Horns Compact library for Kontakt. This is setup to use Group ID "chba". Attached to this post is a ZIP file with the .prules file and a ReadMe file. As explained in the ReadMe, much of which, I am sorry to say, yo...

Re: Group ID Organization
I'm not sure what the purpose is of that sticky in the main "Notion" forum, though, since the subforum we're posting in right now is already called "Share Custom Rules". Is this subforum or that sticky the correct place to share custom rules? Or are they intended to complement ea...

Re: Group ID Organization
On a side note, I'm currently close to completing the first version of my Chris Hein Horns Compact rule-set, if anybody is interested. I'm certainly interested. Since we're talking about it, I intend to give my CHH-C rules the Group-ID "chba". Another rule-set I've been putting some ideas...

Re: Plugin ID
This makes me quite happy ... A couple of questions: 1) Can I define more than one <group /> element per prules file? If so, I assume each <group/> can have a separate <setup /> element as well. 2) Can I change rule-sets like I can change instruments, i.e., anywhere in the score or are these rule-s...

Re: Plugin ID
Notion has just implemented their solution in the latest update 4.0.328. You can now assign rulesets by staff based on a user-assignable group ID, ignoring plugin ID. For example, let's say you create a ruleset for a particular Library in Kontakt. In the Custom Rules, instead of using <plugin id=&qu...

Re: Shift Y and Group ID for Rules
Looks like Shift-Y for Group ID is now in the 4.0.328 update! Pressing Shift-Y brings up a "Use Rules" prompt, and when placed on a note it allows a four-digit code to be entered. I'm going to run some tests and see if it works as expected. So far, it works as expected! Thank you, Notion!

Re: EWQL crescendi
I don't know anything about EWQL, does it use different MIDI channels for different articulations or instruments? If so, that's the root of the problem. Notion currently only sends MIDI controller changes for hairpin crescendos and decrescendos on Channel #1, even when it is redirecting notes to oth...

Re: No Slashes
... I will submit a feature request for this feature. -Admin Thank you, I would also like to see this notation feature. Interesting that this issue has come up in at least three other threads recently, but I don't think it was mentioned much as an issue in the past. I'm including a link to this one...
