Accent equals stacc.?

Playback of an accented quarter tied to a half-note (or any other long duration) produces a short articulation (staccato).

Does anyone else find this wrong? Where I come from an accent produces a heavier stress on the note but does NOT affect its duration.

Possible to change this behavior?

Initial Key Signature

I haven't run into this before. I opened my file and noticed that the initial key sig. had been changed from two flats to no sharps or flats. So I used the key signature tool to reset the initial key sig back to two flats. It will not let me. I can change the key sig at bar 2, but cannot set the ini...

Re: Metronome Clicks

Point of curiosity...How would you get your playing sync'd up with the tempo without a click?

Re: Getting Rid of the Entry Pallette?

Right now i'm nowhere near any computer with Notion, but if I remember correctly, ESC hides the palette. thanks for the reply Novatlan. Hmm... I experimented with it and sometimes the esc button works and sometimes it does not. Sometimes just clicking a staff causes it to vanish and sometimes it do...

Getting Rid of the Entry Pallette?

When you turn on the entry pallet mode where you right click to see it and it appears, how do you get it to turn back off? I try clicking various points on the score and staffs with just the pointer selected or any other tool. Each time I right click it appears next to the cursor again. How do you g...
