Re: techniquelist.xml
Hi Lubo, I don't want to be disrecpectful of your work, but having an empty midi technique tabs is totally useless and unproductive... it simply doesn't make sense... right now using midi channel is the only way to use Notion in a productive manner and the only workaround I have found so far is keep...

Re: Custom rules for Vienna Ensemble Pro
So, after some reading and guessing around, I found my way around with VEP and Notion and I though of posting it so it could potentially help others eventually... So there is 2 possibilities to use VEP inside of Notion with Rules, either you use it directly as a VSTi with it's ID or either you use t...

Is Score Text entries be use as a condition?
Hi, I did some test with vocal libaries and if you assign techniques to voyels/consonnants, it works quite nicely, however the staff then doesn't make any sense then, sooo... I was wondering: 1- Can you actually make condition on text entries already? If not is it on the plan for future update? - By...

Re: Adding techniques for vsti
Hi Lubo, Is there any way to do the same for the midi technique which is empty by default? I tried creating new entries in the xml file by replacing vsti for midi, but didn't have any luck so far... I know I just need to add a dummy staff and pick the techniques from there, but it is just annoying t...

Re: Custom rules for Vienna Ensemble Pro
Yes, that's what I was wondering, but following Lubo's answer you are probably right, it's not possible, however that will definitely be the way to go to be able to set unique identifier by staff or for a number of staff. Maybe you can answer my second question, is the midi-channel condition limited...

Re: Custom rules for Vienna Ensemble Pro
Thanks Lubo for your reply, so following your answer means that instrument-id isn't something that is accessible, is it something you are planning on opening in the future? To me it will be the most flexible approach... Since I'm planning to host all vsti inside VE Pro, is there anyway to do more th...

Re: Custom rules for Vienna Ensemble Pro
So the instrument-id do not seems to be so simple, the ID you are refering to internaly do not seems to be visible from inside Notion or I'm missing it? There not the same as the one seen in the Instrument Change list. The midi-channel condition as state in another discussion works fine, but is more...

Adding techniques for vsti
Hi, Is there a way to add technique to the default set for the VSTi technique popup. Like by exemple Kirk Hunter strings have marcato samples, so I can set that as a rule, but to use it I have to steal that technique form another intrument like EWQL SO and copy/paste it to make it work. Is there a w...
