Re: recording midi into reaper
You're not trying to playback in Notion while playing the recorded tracks in Reaper are you? Doing this may cause double note hits which would cause issues if Reaper and Notion are out of sync with each other (even if just by a few milliseconds). Nope. But does it work fine for you? I mean when you...

Re: recording midi into reaper
Hi, I'll respond here. I managed to get rewire working. I have to press record once in reaper, and after that I can use play/stop in Notion as well, and it starts/stops playing in reaper. I tried to upload an example, but the forum says prules extension is not allowed and you would need my custom ru...

recording midi into reaper
I know this is the Notion forum, and the problem I'm about to describe is in reaper, still since others use it as well, I hope someone can help me. So if I connect N3 to reaper and I play my stuff back through it (with the midi-out ports), everything sounds fine. However if I record the same midi st...

Re: Help with rewire
Yeah, but still no connection, but isn't this thread about that bug? I mean is there a workaround for this tempo syncing bug?:)

Re: Help with rewire
Opps. So if I start reaper first and I don't start Notion then I have rewire, but if I started Notion already (even if I started it after reaper) then I don't. I hope this gets resolved soon, I'm running arpeggiators in reaper controlled by notion, and at the moment I can't change the tempo in N3 or...

Re: Drawing on (Manually Editing) Sequencer Staves

Yep, I felt very strongly about that one too. Not anymore, even if n3 would come out with an x64 version, I doubt I would change my workflow as I don't expect it to ever replace a sequencer.

Re: Drawing on (Manually Editing) Sequencer Staves
What I do is I created my custom ruleset which allows me to insert a simple DXF command into the score that switches to the DXF instrument for that note, so I can do it by simply inserting a hairpin and nothing else (and the word DXF, but that can be removed if I wanted to print). As for further twe...

Re: Help with rewire
I'm on win 7 x64, and I don't even have rewire in the fx list, no matter what I do.
