VSL Versions and Notion
I'm thinking of buying VSL (or some version of VSL) to use in my compositions; however, as I view the product sites, it seems that there is a wide variety of products to choose from. Which program(s) can be utiltized in Notion with the built in rules files? I see VSL Ensemble, Ensemble Pro, and Inst...

Re: How to write a preset or template for VSTi?
A tool to create VSTi templates would be AMAZING! Also, is there a way to create a custom score template file that can be opened at the beginning (like the full orchestra or string ensemble templates)?

Re: GPO Rules Customization Question
Thanks to Erufailon for this: <rule> <!-- legato--> <if instrument-id = "13001"/> <!-- Piccolo--> <if condition="under-slur" /> <cc type="note-off-suffix" controller="64" value="127" /> </rule> <rule> <!-- not legato--> <if instrument-id = "1300...

GPO Rules Customization Question
This is a message for anyone who knows how to adjust the rules files (especially the Notion admins). I use GPO with Notion and as GPO users know, CC 64 (the pedal) controls the legato function in GPO on string, brass, and wind instruments (it's not a sustain except in certain keyboard and percussion...

Re: Glitches at bars start sequencing
Have you tried using Notion's bundled sounds as a comparison? I don't use EWQLSO (so this is a total guess), but the situation you're describing sounds like you've maxed out your RAM (or you're close to maximizing your RAM). Try playing your piece with the Notion bundled sounds and see if you get th...

Re: Sonar, Notion 3 and rewire tutorial
I've noticed that Notion is performing well regardless of your track settings in Reaper these days. I'm not sure if it's because of updates to Notion, Repaer, or both, but Notion seems to be much more reliable in Reaper.

Re: Apologies ahead of time...this isn't pretty.
So how do you set up the tracks to out put with a given set of rules? Do you add tracks with the given templates (i.e. EWQL Trumpet or GPO Flute) and then change the out put in the track options to one of the MIDI channels? Or is it more basic than that?

Re: Apologies ahead of time...this isn't pretty.
Erufailon,
Were you able to use the custom rules files once you chose to send everything through the MIDI out channels?

Re: Record in Rewire Mode
One more bump. I've submitted this as a bug report; have any of the developers replicated the issue and/or have a solution/work around?
