Glissando to a chord goes to bottom note
My vocal score in Eb ends with a glissando from Bb to Eb, but the Eb is chorded whole note over a Bb and a G. So if I start with just the top Eb and gliss up from the previous measure's Bb, I get what I want: a glissando up. But if I then add a Bb the glissando switches to the lower note. If I add t...

Re: Shortening final staff line of score
Yes, I know that I can fiddle with staff size and other parameters, but when I need a house style for a set of parts I don't want a hodge-podge of score sizing. I would think that Notion cound automatically place the final double-bar of a score based on the width of measures in the final line of mus...

Re: Changing instrument (patch change)
Thanks for the tip. I do have the Windows desktop version, but it's my dream (someday) to go from inspiration to printed parts 100% on iPad. With the recent rehearsal marks, swing feature, entering notes in transposed keys, and dynamic parts it looks like I'm about 90% there. Keep up the good work, ...

Shortening final staff line of score
Sometimes my scores have only one or two measures on the last line. Notion for iPad makes even one measure stretch out the whole width of the score.
Is there anyway to reverse indent (from the right) to make the last line of music look normal?

Changing instrument (patch change)
Often my scores I have an instrumentalist that must change instruments. For example, a Synthesizer player might need to alternate between two or three instruments sounds written noon part, Strings, Xylophone; or a Clarinet payer might switch to Flute for a few bars. Can Notion for iPad make instrume...

Re: Ties. - multiple concerns
Sometimes tying a note from one bar to the next doesn't work. Maybe one of the notes was accidentally entered in a different voice. My solution is to delete the second note, re-enter it carefully in the primary voice, and tie again. This usually works, but seemingly not for notes tied in series (mor...

Re: Lyrics on a multi-voice staff
I need to put lyrics on a divisi staff, too. Is text attached to the top notes the only way? Also, Notion doesn't seem to use voice #2 for lyrics, so I'll have to add text attached to the bottom notes as well, not using Lyrics entry at all. Can anyone suggest a better way?

Re: Ties
My experience and observation with the iPad app is that notes entered with the second voice icon active cannot be tied at all. Notes entered with the primary voice icon active seem to tie just fine; however, I cannot get ties to extend beyond a second note, for example, a half note tied to a whole n...
