Wish: "virtual custom rules" and more MIDI outs
1) Is there any way to increase the number of available external MIDI outputs? Currently A-D only. Could we simply use loopMIDI and choose any one of those lanes? 2) Is there a way to send the MIDI output (including CCs, key switches, etc.) generated by the Custom Rules for, say, the VSL SE Oboe, to...

Re: Moving data from Notion 4 to sequencer
OK I answered my question 6 above: assign Outputs in each channel strip of Notion mixer.
New question:
7) Do I need to create a tempo track in SONAR and enter every tempo and meter changes present in my original score in Notion? Is there a way to transfer these automatically between the two apps?

Re: Moving data from Notion 4 to sequencer
Other than the audio recording and mixing features already mentioned, you can also route the MIDI back to the DAW via the MIDI A, B, C, D ports in Notion (and a virtual cable such as loopMIDI) to get more sophisticated MIDI effects and editing capabilities. For example, I can route MIDI from Notion...

Moving data from Notion 4 to sequencer
Here's a potentially very simple/stupid(?) question for you: when data is exported in MIDI format from Notion to, say, Sonar or Cubase, are ALL the articulations (even those entered using Express Entry ), program changes, CC controller levels, etc. preserved. In other words if I use VSL SE Pro prese...

Re: Woodwind libraries
Hi Otto, Actually, I think WW are one of VSL's strongest sections. I have the full versions rather then the SE, and replace the SE patches with those in the Notion VSL presets. Do you ever visit the VI Control forum? There you will find people who own every different library, and can give compariso...

Re: Wish: Excel-like split screen views
Thank you for your very detailed reply. It's actually exactly what I'm doing now as a work-around but, as you note, it's a bit risky and tedious. Just hoping you will find the resources to implement it one day... Thanks again!

Wish: Excel-like split screen views
Would be nice to be able to split the score screen horizontally and/or vertically and be able to scroll up/down and left/right independently in each half/quadrant à la Excel. Splitting horizontally would let us compare instruments/groups and vertically would permit look/copy/paste across 2 different...
