Re: List of new features in NOTION 3

Not at the moment....but VERY VERY soon. Check over at the blogs (http://blogs.notionmusic.com) as that is where most of the information is "leaking" ;)

Re: Notion 3 for Guitarists

I see...you may also try exporting as pdf and manipulating for publication. That would probably give you the best resolution for print.....

I don't believe that pinch harmonics are slated for an update, but I can certainly throw them in the ring for contention!

Re: Notion 3 for Guitarists

I can tell you that everything in Progression will be included in N3. There are some more features that will also be included, but unfortunately graphic export and pinch harmonics are not on the list.... As far as graphic exports it seems like it would be just as easy to take a screen shot? Either w...

Re: Notion 3 for Guitarists

I can probably talk about some things as we're close to wrapping things up on N3. What in particular are you looking for...or what are you missing in Progression? Check out the blogs (http://blogs.notionmusic.com) as there is plenty of "leaked" info over there on N3. But once again....what...

Re: Progression is still standing more than one ye

Many times my job is to transcribe music for my students (single guitar parts or complete band arrangements with vocals) and print out the scores...

Re: soooo am i going to be able to play in drop c

unfortunately playback does not support drop c tuning at the moment. You can certainly write for that range, but it will not play a sample back. Getting a drop c sample cleanly proved to be quite troublesome, so I believe they passed on it. We may be able to work it in for the next update.

Re: Notion 3

I'm currently enjoying using it with EWQLSO Platinum. I never quite understood why EW was so lauded because I never could get it to sound quite right using sequencers. Now that I can input notes into N3 the traditional way, I can enjoy the sonic realism and awesomeness of EWQLSO. I also have VSL Vi...

Re: What articulations are included?

For your purpose "tremolo" is "normal tremolando" and is included in Expanded Strings I.....

Hope this clears things up!
