Re: Slur Rules and GPO
Well... I'm experiencing the issue again. However, the legato is working on the GPO strings, but it's not working on woodwinds or brass instruments. Is anyone else having this issue? Yep, same issue here. n-Violin Plr 1 = legato NO Violin Plr 1 = legato YES n-SAM French Horn Plr 1 = legato NO SAM F...

Re: Confused about transposition and concert key.
2. Are you transcribing from a printed score? If so consider that notes on paper are already transposed. In this case do your work in *Transposed* view. Otherwise it will results in... a transposition of a transposition :) Aha! This was it. I should've started out in the "Transposed" view...

Re: Confused about transposition and concert key.
Fabio: Thanks! You write excellent English, better than most natives I know, so no worries there! :D 2. I'm transcribing from a printed score (I'll post a snippet soon, afaik it's legal with regards to copyright as long as I only post a snippet - just getting my scanner installed!). I notice that if...

Confused about transposition and concert key.
I'm transcribing "Venus, the Bringer of Peace", which has a key of C minor, and the Bb Clarinets are shown on the score in the key of D minor. I have tried switching between "Concert Tuning" and "Concert Pitch" and even played around with the track settings, but nothing...

Some apps like Cubase and SONAR (and EastWest is a particularly bad offender) come in these ridiculously huge boxes which actually have cardboard padding inside for all the empty space. :? Even if you care not for package, waste and the environment, Noti...

Re: Can Notion replace Sibelius?
Szurcio1: Yeah, I'm an Overture 'refugee' as well, and there are quite a few things that it does better (as you say, editing MIDI on the score, custom dynamics that can be assigned to CC/Velocity/Program Changes on the fly, some issues with cut&paste that I hope to prepare a video for soon for t...

Re: Real Time MIDI Input/Import Updated !
Metronome Count-In
Excellent!! Was very much hoping this would be added in. No more empty first bars for me.
(And Happy Thanksgiving! Despite being the UK, I have a Thanksgiving to attend myself courtesy of a friend who lectures American History. )
