Re: Key Signature question
This is common when writing with 'pitches' as opposed to common practice harmony. As Thorrild said, avoid double sharps/flats in chords. Also, in melodic figures, augmented and diminished intervals are also best avoided; especially from the standpoint of readability. A rule of thumb I use also, when...

Re: Horn parts
I have seen a couple threads concerning this and there is often some confusion between how you >orchestrate< horn parts versus how you 'score' horn parts. Score order should always be 1,2,3,4. However, the way you space chords is 1,3,2,4. Also, There is actually a practical reason to continue this a...

Re: All I want to do is adjust the tempo
If you double click on the tempo marking it self (in the score; either page or scroll view) you can type in what ever tempo and pulse you like. Is that what you're looking for?

Re: Distortion in Euphonium
after a few more listens; It's what we [brass players] call a double-buzz. It's most likely from fatigue. Mr. Harrild is a beast to be sure, but sampling on tuba all day then switching to Euph is enough to make the best tired. It's not a huge problem as I use Notion for mock ups not a final recordin...

Distortion in Euphonium
I posted something about this a while back, but didn't have time to add any examples. I'm using the stock library and stock reverb in N4. I keep experiencing distortion. After a while I have been able to isolate it to a specific pitch "G" on top space (bass clef). I attached a couple sound...

Re: Lots of problems with the dynamic parts function
I brought this up as welll. In the end I was told essentially to stop publicly complaining about the notation or they would delete my posts. Use notion for what it does well. I still do. Eventually they will get their ducks in a row and at that point, their competitors will be in trouble. For as muc...

Re: pp to not affect payback
you can double click on the dynamic and tweak the played dynamic by adding a "+" and the number of dynamic levels you with to move it up.

Re: Still not fixed?
I have checked both the final measure and the one before it and many other measures. Nothing changes. Same with the other sample, which is in the middle of the piece. I had the same issue in N3 as well.
