Re: Text to mark movements in a score
Forget that, it's not a complete solution because there is no option to specify pages for later in the score. So, it can add the marking for your first movement but not any following movements. Shame, I thought I had found it there.

Re: Text to mark movements in a score
I discovered a way to do it.
Score > Add Title, Header, Footer then select Subtitle. This will allow you to place a lovely I for the first movement of your opus in just the right position beneath your title.

Re: Text to mark movements in a score
@pcartwright: I simply want to add numerals I, II III, IV to the score. Very basic stuff!
@Migot: Merci, Alain. That would work I suppose but it means having a work split into different files which isn't ideal.
I'm just so surprised to find no way to do this.

Text to mark movements in a score
I haven't been able to find a way to insert text for movements within a work. It seems to me now that there is no specifically designed method to do this. Why not? The text tool will only attach itself closely to a staff and the rehearsal mark looks all wrong and also has restricted placement. This ...

Re: EWQLSO Gold Quirks
Thanks again, Bill. I will. I haven't yet figured out the relationship between the VSTi and Notion. I presume, from what you say, that although a configuration of samples is loaded into Play as a particular instrument, one can freely alter samples that are used and effectively make a custom instrume...

Re: EWQLSO Gold Quirks
Aah, so it's just down to looping. Thanks, Bill. I think I expected something within the way the samples were called to simulate a looped sound but it presumably doesn't or can't do that. I have to disagree with you though about what you said regarding a real player. A good player can hold the notes...

EWQLSO Gold Quirks
I've just started using this library but am getting disappointed a lot by things not being quite right. I altered a couple of works in progress by changing from Notion instruments to EWQLSO instruments and immediately noticed things which played back fine before now playing back incorrectly. For exa...

Re: New EWQL problem I didn't have before
It's OK. Upon looking inside the sub-folders I realised that the actual sample files were different which meant I could merge without fear of losing any samples. I now seem to have EWQLSO working with Notion.

Re: New EWQL problem I didn't have before
François, would you mind telling me exactly how you "merged" the Gold and Silver folders? It's not at all clear to me how that can happen without overwriting (and therefore, presumably, losing) some of the samples. I say this because it seems many of the sub-folders are named exactly the s...
