The Tab key turns the staff into Overlay mode, which is a kind of basic sequencer staff.
You can graphically adjust the start, length and end of a note, and set the velocity by double clicking on it.

You post me nice VSTi use in Notion 3, but i need using VSTi in Overture 4, i was criticize Overture 4 demo not notion :) VSTi in Notion 3 is easy as pie. I'm confused... Obviously I should have go further back in the messages and I would have found the reference to Overture... Sorry to have taken ...
