Re: Is Notion 4 compatible with ReWire 2 ?
For example one could assign VSL Flute 1 to the first flute voice and VSL Flute 2 to the second and still be able to put both on the same staff. Would also be useful for doing the same with two (three, four) libraries when there's a risk of phasing. There is a way to do this (albeit a little tediou...

Re: Sync with Video for scoring
I use a DAW with video support rewired to Notion4. I don't use mediavst, so I can't speak to it one way or the other. Just make sure that you use a 32bit plugin with 32bit Notion and a 64bit plugin with 64 bit Notion.

Re: CC11 keep jumping to default value
I think this happens because CC11 is used in the default rules to control dynamics. When you play into Notion, the program doesn't know which dynamic to assign so it goes with the default. Try adjusting the Generic.prules file (in Windows, it can be found in Program Files > Notion 4 > Support > Plug...

Re: Shift Y and Group ID for Rules
It's been quite a while since we've had any news on the Shift Y (or equivalent feature). The last I heard, this feature was pulled to allow for deeper GUI interface. Is this feature still in development? I am hesitant to write additional rules for Notion 4 until I understand when/how this feature wi...

Re: Sound on Sound review of Notion 4
Melonsoda is quite right, but even in an era of equal temperament, flats and sharps indicate different harmonic function. Surfwhammy, I suggest you take a few courses on theory and voiceleading before you characterize flats as unnecessary and those players who read them better than sharps as lazy. Y...

Re: Poor 4.0.325 Windows update experience
I didn't experience either of those issues (win7 64 bit). The installer ran from the system tray, and no reboot required.
Is it possible that Notion upgraded while Windows or another piece of software performed an update?

Re: Control over stem direction
That is weird. I would submit a bug report or email Notion support to see if there is a solution.
