Re: Any way to adjust dynamics range?
Hi David.
Values for dynamics are set in the rules file.
You can find it just at the beginning of it.

Re: Orchestral mock ups
Yes. Check it out at http://www.orchestraltools.com/page2/index.php
It is quite expensive, but cheaper than VSL...
Oddly, while it runs in Kontakt Player, you need full Kontakt to run the Expansion.

Re: Orchestral mock ups
I can confirm that Virtual Sound Stage is an excellent tool.
I regularly use VSL presets with GPO (someday I will customize it, since I like to have the Violin I facing Violin II).
For my latest rendering — woodwind quartet — I'm working with Berlin Woodwinds presets: great ones!
Truly recommended.

Re: My First SacredSymphonics Piece-- "If God Be For Us"
Hi John.
You did a very nice work, both for the arranegment and the performance.
I also enjoyed the vintage sound of it: it is like it coming from a 50s record.
Only, the piece ends assertively but abruptly. I feel some extra work here.
Best regards

Re: Stylistic ideals (and a Sonata)
Man: Ah. I'd like to have an argument, please. Receptionist: Certainly sir. Have you been here before? Man: No, I haven't, this is my first time. Hi Otto. I'm not used at speculating about the process of making music — at least beyond the personal level of asking myself what am I doing. In any case...

Re: Performance: How to count off a tempo before start?
Maybe is he afraid of having bar count altered?
But you can turn this added measure into a "pickup" kind of measure (right click on the measure, last item of the pulldown menu) so it counts as "0" and your score actually starts at "1" again.
