Re: Hairpin no gradual increase in volume
Directly related to what's just been discussed, I'd like to ask for the following in a future Notion update: Shortcut key to open the attachments menu and one for toggling "Show Hidden Items" would be very handy. Ctrl H for the last one, maybe? It would make the workflow of working with an...

Re: Looping
Yes, thank you very much. I got the information you provided on this via my other post and installed the 32 bit version. Something interesting happened the other day when I updated to 4.0.324. I unchecked the 64 bit box in the installer, expecting only the 32 bit Notion to be updated but when I laun...
Re: Hairpin no gradual increase in volume
using a dynamic mark at both ends of hairpins, and then "hiding" some of them is the best way to get lots of expressiveness without cluttering up your score. I have a macro key on my keyboard programed to hit the "hide" menu item quickly and I use it constantly while working wit...

Audio demos for expansion sounds
Any chance of audio demos for the expansion sounds so we could hear what's on offer before purchasing?

Re: "How To" Videos
Could I ask for a video on setting up Ableton Live with Notion as ReWire slave as I think that's what I need but I'm stumped because I don't have Notion showing up at all under Live's MIDI outputs? What I would like to do is to create and edit my MIDI in Live, controlling EWQL instruments in Notion ...

Re: Hairpin no gradual increase in volume
@thorrild: I would just like Notion to function as much like a real world score as possible, that's all. You should be able to write a hairpin anywhere without necessarily specifying a dynamic marking to make it work.

Re: Hairpin no gradual increase in volume
Yes, apparently this function is "object oriented" so it seems you have to always have your cresc. or dim. linked directly to a dynamic marking.
I'd like to know if the Notion guys would consider changing the nature of this function because one doesn't really write scores in this way!

32 bit and 64 bit versions
Is it okay to install and run both versions on the same system? I installed the 64 bit on my W7 PC but would like to be able to use Notion with Ableton Live via ReWire. I tried but it didn't work which I assume is due to the applications being different bit versions. Would it simply be a case of me ...
