Constant VST Reload in .239

It appears that every time I do something with a VST instrument (add a new one in Score layout, change instruments on a staff that involves or already has a VST associated with it, etc.), N3 reloads *all* the VST instruments in the score. This did not happen before and it is a *big* time-waster now ...

Re: Playing multiple time signatures in playback

Dameun,

This is a bug (worked just fine in N2), and I have reported it as such. Feel free to do the same to bump it to the top of the next fix list. :-)

N3 Sound Fixes and Kits

Greetings! Just wondering where on the radar an update to the included N3 Sounds is that will fix bad or missing continuous loops on all sustained instruments (like N2 sounds) and quirky volume glitches like the Bass Clarinet, which makes a *big* volume jump between mp and mf. Also wondering about w...

Locking vs. Hovering

Remember that if you click on a palette or an instrument-specific technique tab, then you are temporarily making the Palette Window persistant (locked), which means it will not go away via <esc> until you click on the same palette/tab, which will then unlock it. Pages 1.11-1.12 of the User Manual ha...

Re: Slur Rules and GPO

I just snooped--the .pdef files appear to be XML, so an XML editor should work. GPO ARIA (or Kontakt, for that matter) uses CC64 for legato in the "REGULAR" instruments. CC68 is used for legato with the "notation" instruments only. I, too, discovered the hidden XML underpinnings...

Slur Rules and GPO

1. I have taken a look at the GPO_Aria rules file and noticed that there are slur rules for strings (solo and ensemble) but not for any other instrument. 2. Why is the CC# used in GPO_Aria slur rules set to 64 when GPO uses 68 to evoke slurs? 3. Why doesn't a slur still not work when I change CC# us...

'Q' and TAB Key functionality in NTempo Playback

During NTempo playback, the Q key does not pause (i.e., it has *no* effect whatsoever on playback) and when I <TAB> out of a vamp/repeat, the jump occurs but then only th first beat of the measure following vamp/repeat plays and then playback stops. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I doing som...

Re: extra staff for keyswitches

Also be aware that your keyswitches will not be chased, so you will have to back up far enough in your score to whatever ks state you want, then play it, and then go back to where you really want to start working.
