Re: Glissando

Don't think so... You may have to take the higher stave and put it in the bass clef for your first note or end in the treble clef if you take the lower stave as a workaround.

Re: Glissando

Make sure the first measure is full and ends on the note you want to start the gliss with. Make sure the next measure starts with the note you want to gliss to. Select the gliss feature (find it in the middle of the toolbar at the bottom with the trill icon) and click on the note that starts the gli...

Is there any way in MIDI import to recognise time signature changes and change of tempo?

Re: How to export XML from Sibelius ??

Is there any hope for Notion to at some point become sibelius-literate? It would not necessarily need to export as sibelius due to XML but it would help to be able to directly import it.

Re: Notion, the things I like so far.

I think the main thing about Notion is that it sounds so much better than a load of other softwares. A clarinet actually sounds like a clarinet. (Same for strings, brass, percussion and the rest of the woodwind, so pretty much everything then).

It's just that it can be quite tricky when the download is so large that you may have to keep the compute...

Re: Trill effect on timpani

I would like to mention here that a trill on a timpani should be played as a tremolo but Notion will only accept tremolo markings, so that could be improved upon. Secondly on tuned percussion instruments, a trill should play as your ordinary trill but Notion seems to think tuned percussion instrumen...
