Re: EastWest
But, 1st of all, what's this bug with sample directory ?? There is no bug with the sample directory. Notion is designed to work with East West Symphonic Orchestra Platinum, so it tries to load the samples from the platinum directory. If you only have Gold (as I do), then you don't have the director...
Re: EastWest
I have to say it sounds like you're running out of memory. A whole template - even the lite template - is a lot to load. That's not to say it can't be done, but if you already have other stuff running you'll never do it. What other programs/files do you have open while you're trying to load it? For ...
Re: EastWest
Hello, I'm new here and now testing the demo version of Notion3. I encounter many problems trying setting up EWQLSO Play Gold version... The program seems not to find the right directory for the samples... It begins with something like c:\c:\... (?) then continues with /Users/luboastinov/ (?)... I ...
Re: Another question about dynamics.
Actually, there are rules which handle these. I am not sure whether or not they do anything for Notion instruments, but for others - Garritan, Miroslav, EWQL, etc. - they either already do something with the out-of-the-box rules, or you can edit the rules files to make them work. For example, the EW...

Re: Exporting audio just doesn't sound as good
Well, in noticing that what Notion plays sounds good, but what it exports doesn't seem to, the first instinct would be to simply record what Notion is playing back, rather than having it export audio. However, ASIO - which operates by far the best out of all the driver options I have for playing ba...

Re: Exporting audio just doesn't sound as good
I have a similar problem with getting the volume level up to the range of other .wav files. The comparison with the sound track could be heavily affected by the likely use of heavy compression, however. What do you mean by this: I unfortunately can't just record via the soundcard, because of ASIO. ...

Exporting audio just doesn't sound as good
Does anybody have any advice on how to get good sounding audio files from Notion? When I just listen to things playing back in Notion, it sounds great. When I then export it to audio, it just doesn't sound the same. I don't know how to describe exactly what the difference is, but the frequency respo...

Re: GPO Custom Rules
I'm very curious to know how you think you can trigger overlays at various dynamic levels. It would be very useful for some things I am trying to do.
