Re: 3.280

bump -- I would love to know if there is some other alternative to this. As it stands, I don't even know if I'm getting the latest/greatest samples when I play stuff in Notion. I have followed all the instructions in this thread, but still get the notification that there are updates to a ton of samp...

Re: 3.280

Just do a search for *.prox and it should pull up all of your .prox files. Please delete any .prox files that are not in the bundled folder and then locat your samples again. This should clear things up. It doesn't appear to have cleared it up. I still get the notification that there are sound upda...

Re: 3.280

1. Please highlight all of the downloaded sound files, right-click them, and choose "Copy." On Windows, go to C:\Program Files\NOTION 3\Sounds\Bundled, right-click inside of the folder and choose "Paste." When asked if you would like to over-write the files that are already in t...

Re: Wine

I believe it only prefers beer ;) (Sorry, I don't know the real answer to your question, but just couldn't resist the joke.)

Re: "Save as"-problem

Surfwhammy, You know, I really don't want to sound cold or mean, but does every reply to a post have to include a lengthy treatise with links about your parodies and how you're producing them? I just get this nagging feeling that, even though you're actually answering some element of the questions t...

Re: 3.280

There will be one large download that will include all of the new sounds. -kyle Kyle, this is great news! When I saw the list of sounds that needed updated, and then saw that we had to do them one-by-one off the webpage, I about cried! ;) I'll wait for the large one-file-download solution. BTW, the...

Re: Notion vs Protege

I see there is a way to achieve [Dal Segno and Da Capo} with what is available, but I agree with you they should still be there. You should check to see if it is a feature request and if not, make it so. cheers, tim Ironically, I just responded a few minutes ago after testing this, and I could NOT ...

Re: Different keyswicthes for same articulation(staccato)

This can be frustrating, not only when working with Notion, but when working with libraries such as these in general. With EastWest/QuantumLeap, I have to constantly refer to cheat sheets or just experiment to find the right keyswitches. Sometimes, due to the range of the instrument being used, the ...

Re: Cup Mute Bug

I agree with what has been said here. I was extremely frustrated with "open" not cancelling out a cup mute and somehow decided to try "normale" as an alternative which, to my utter amazement, worked! It forces a decision between audio generation and readable notation, in my opini...

Re: Accidental woes

I'm just glad you explained the "logic" behind it. I could not figure out the pattern, only that sometimes the accidental needed to be different than what I wanted in order to function correctly!! Thanks for at least explaining why it works the way it does. Now, if they would just fix it.....
