I've had the same problem. I prefer the sound of EWQL to VSL SE, but I own both. Crescendos on held notes don't seem to work at all, even though EWQL has crossfade instruments to do such, etc. I'm hoping the new update to Notion will add to the usability of integration with EWQL.

I have both Notion 4 and Notion for iPad. A nice feature would be a "push" feature that, kind of like icalendar, it will "push" changes from one to the other. That way, if you are working away from home on a score on the iPad, it will push changes to that score on your home compu...

I just tried that. When I switch samples to one of the ModXF patches on channel one, for some reason, they don't play at all on the score. They work fine on the VST interface. So, no crescendos loaded with the presets, then when I change samples, nothing plays at all....just silence for some reason....

Isn't that the point of using the EWQL presets as provided in Notion4? Shouldn't they work already? I looked at the sample list that loads with the presets. It seems like 10-15 samples load for each instrument already. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for concerning the "crossfade" samp...

Is there a way to do crescendo or decrescendo on held notes, ie, whole notes? The notes play at one volume, and don't "grow" in volume at all....I know EWQL has cross-fading samples, etc., but Notion just doesn't play them for some reason, unless I'm doing something wrong!!!

No worries....you guys @ Notion are always on top of things whenever there's a problem! I look forward to them working in a future update!

No, the timpani rolls never worked with EWQL for whatever reason, even when using Notion's presets....I too would appreciate if you could look into this!

I cannot "see" the 4.0.317 update. I click on "check for updates" and nothing happens, so....I'm still not able to use VSL SE, or any of the other fixes. I click and click and click for updates, NOTHING. And, Notion's site still has the latest update for Notion 3, nothing on Noti...
