Re: Can't Convert MIDI Drum Files To Drum Staff
Thanks Ulrik that's indeed very helpful. I got that file from GrooveMonkee.com they provide loops for several vendor formats i.e., Reason, Live and few other ones. I'll download a few and experiment. Do you know of any format that is fairly close to Notion's standard?

Can't Convert MIDI Drum Files To Drum Staff
I tried to import a MIDI file containing a drum loop and I can't get it to display properly in drum staff. I experimented with the Notation/Tab settings but that didn't do much. I've attached the file in case anyone wants to give it try. In the end, I just wanted to look like the drum files in the D...

Re: Notion and Logic 9
Just wondering how do I send the MIDI output of Notion 3 into a Logic 9 software instrument track. Any ideas or perhaps I should first ask is it doable? Thanks! It is not doable at the moment, I don't know if the Notion team have plans for it but I would love it. What you can do at the moment is ru...

Awesome, now I feel even better about dishing out the cash for Notion! You also might want to advertise this fact to the mac community.
Cheers!

Is Notion 3 a Cocoa Application?
Notion 3 looks so good on MacOS X that I wonder if it's using the native MacOS X Cocoa frameworks?

Re: Learning How to Copy-Paste and do Inserts
Thanks Rudi, that helps. Especially the part about me not being special. I was worried I was the only one who stumbled with this. I also put in a feature request for this item.

Learning How to Copy-Paste and do Inserts
Seems like a simple thing but I'm special :D How do I copy paste several notes in front of an existing note thus leaving the existing note in place and having the additional notes in front of it? I think this is was PASTE INSERT is supposed to do except I can't get it to work. Here's what I'm doing:...

Re: Count-In at Play Back
Thanks Fabio!
That's a great way implementation. These guys at Notion have good taste
I wonder if this functionality is also available in perform mode?

Re: Count-In at Play Back
best way to do this now is write in a count off measure.....the next update will include an option to have the count off in the midi record options. Great, good to hear that. Will it be just for record or is the playback case also covered? Finale (oops how did that happen) allows the users to set t...
