Re: Problem with Vienna Instruments in Notion 4
Well, I re-installed the newest Vienna Instruments and that seems to have fixed the problem and I'm back in business. Now, to see what Notion and VSL can do together!

Re: Problem with Vienna Instruments in Notion 4
Sorry, I was out of town for the holiday so didn't get to follow up on this. I will check again tomorrow and confirm that the problem persists, and forward the score. Please note, the problem occured after I had updated the Vienna Instruments player to the latest version. I am using the original VSL...

Problem with Vienna Instruments in Notion 4
I recently upgraded to Notion 4 and am very excited about exploring the options that a 64-bit architecture can offer. That said, I updated my Vienna Instruments player and while playing through a score a glitch occurred (playback froze and just kept looping the sample it was on). After that, I can't...

Re: Notion...ver. 4
I'm assuming that certain 32-bit plugins (like Miroslav Philharmonik, which I love working with in NOTION) will not work within the 64-bit environment - but there will be a 32-bit alternate for older VSTs. Is this correct?
I wish IK would update their player!

Re: Migrating to new computer
I will be migrating from a middling PC to a more powerful PC (and from Vista to Windows 7), so the advice to make a copy of the folders containing the sound library - with all folders in their proper hierarchy - is a good thing to hear. I am upgrading hardware primarily for the sake of other graphic...

Migrating to new computer
I'm hoping I might be able to get some tips for the most seamless transfer of Notion 3 to a new computer. My main concern is that I've had a copy of Notion since it first came out and have purchased all the expansion packs for Notion 2 instruments (which I happen to like very much), plus several for...

NOTION 3 Trumpets at ff issue
I've been away from Notion for a while and realize that I have never fixed the issue of the strange trumpet timbre when playing at ff and louder. I've searched the forum and can't seem to find a clear answer - I may not be using the right keywords. I would appreciate it if someone could point me to ...
