I'm getting these tiny (but noticeable) "cracks" when I play back a certain section of my piece, i.e. the sound is crackling or cutting out for just the briefest of moments, disrupting the continuity.

Does anyone know why this is happening, or how to fix it?

Ah, that is indeed different. It makes much more sense that it has been played 200 times.

What exactly is "Secessionist"? The Vienna Secession was a movement of art and design in Austria in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It had parallels to Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts design in the US and UK and also some affinity to Frank Lloyd Wright's early work here in the US....
