Re: Anyone here happy to use Notions own samples?

Yeah, I use them on my tabletPC, except the Guitar, because for distorted stuff it can't even give an estimate how it would sound on a real guitar, but the rest are fine and most sample libraries wouldn't run well on that anyway. However if I really want it to sound like something you'd listen to, I...

Re: Reverting to earlier version

Is it possible to tweak the settings on the pen? I wonder if maybe the pen has a setting that allows for double click when you touch and release? Tried every setting I could find, even changing pressure sensitivity curve and changing double click speed and disabling right clicking when pressing on ...

Re: Reverting to earlier version

Umm, tried it with a mouse, it works fine and also this time the touchscreen worked, only the pen input didn't. Also, tried it with both the supplied S-pen and a wacom pen. All other applications and even Notion's menus work fine, only the virtual keyboard/guitar neck and the score itself register t...

Re: Reverting to earlier version

It's a Samsung SmartPC pro, ativ 700t. Haven't tried the mouse yet, but both the touchscreen with my fingers and the pen input do the same. It was working with an earlier build, but I don't know which one it was. It did the same in tablet mode and docked to the keyboard.

Reverting to earlier version

Any way to revert to a previous version? This latest doesn't seem to work fine with win 8 64 bit with a touchscreen. Any input I do on the touchscreen in the score (not in the menus, those work fine) is doubled. Also on the guitar and keyboard entry. It seems the program stops to think for a while a...

Re: Plugin ID

Of course, and what's the workaround for that? Can we use group IDs for vst as well? But to answer my own question I found out that jbridge creates a text file for the vsts when it creates the bridge files and that has the VST ID in it. I love Notion, but I just can't understand why they make this s...

Plugin ID

So, here we go again, I fought with Notion 3 custom rules long enough to finaly switch to another scoring software. In that regard it was a lot more useful, but as I wanted something more simple for my laptop I decided to give N4 a try again, and I'm stuck again as we still have to find a way to fig...

Re: Notion for ipad

Just dropped by to say thank you for the iPad app. There is another notation app in the store that I deeply regret buying now, as Notion stomps all over that. :D Also thank you for the release sale as I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't so cheap (since that other app made me skeptical about notat...

Re: X01 - X20, CS01 - CS10 Elaboration

x01-20 are note techniques, while cs01-10 are start and end techniques. So if u place an x01 on a note it applies to that note only, while if u place a cs01 it applies to all the notes after it until cancelled with another cs or normale.
