Re: What about Notion 5 ?
Did anyone from Notion ever mention a version 5? I saw a thread about updates, but I don't remember seeing anything from the admin about a new version. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Re: Notation Enhancement
True. Hopefully Notion and Presonus won't get dragged into complacency as the only production based notation program on the market.

Re: Notation Enhancement
It's been a while since I've contributed to the forum, but I feel the need to speak up here. I'm very disappointed in the lack of updates to Notion 4. I don't know what features will come when, but we've been told cross-staff beaming would be on its way since version 3. Additionally, there are a hos...

Re: Notion acquired by Presonus
I've always been a fan of Presonus. I've had a FirePod for 7+ years (it's always been rock solid), I've worked with some of their nicer mixers, and I recommend Presonus products whenever asked. I've never dabbled too much with their software, but I'm glad to hear the Notion team will still be involv...

Re: Legato
If the first rule set doesn't work, try this one. I cut the staccato notes short (even though you clearly have a separate patch).

Re: Legato
I'm not sure if this will solve the issue, but give the following rules file a shot and see what happens. All I did was remove the flag references (except for the first and last rule).
I don't suppose any of the CC values you are tweaking have some sort of repeat function?

Re: Rules, SE Suspended Cymbal
Hi Migot.
Send me a message, and I'll provide you with rules and how to use them. Please keep in mind that I made these without the ability to test them (I don't own VSL in any capacity), but I think they should do what you need them to do.
Regards

Re: Legato
under-slur will trigger the effect for anything tied to or from a slur. slurred-attack will only trigger the rule if the start of the pitch is part of the slur With these conditions, I would not expect the first note of a slurred passage to trigger the rule. If you want the first note of a slurred p...

Re: Indentation
I don't use indentation as much simply because there aren't else or else-if statements within the rules. Each rule is usually one if statement after another (as is your example), so it becomes a little redundant to indent IMHO, but I know this isn't really the norm.
Also, +1 to Notepad++
