Re: Migrating to new computer
Hi. As your new computer will be win 7 then look at windows easy transfer. You can transfer files by cable or network. Think the cable is one you'll need to buy although I'm not sure.

Re: Midi output
Hi, I have used Maple and midi yoke quite successfully in Notion. If you install Maple or whichever one you prefer (do this before you start Notion) then go into File>preferences>Midi. In Midi output drop down select your virtual midi cable. That should be all you need to do in Notion (I think). The...

Re: MIDI out problem
I don't know much about midi and daw's. Are you using Asio4all. If you are then move the main slider all the way to the right. Also increase the number of buffers. In fact I slide all to hte right and it helps with latency problems. Probably completely wrong but you never know. If you aren't using i...

Re: Save as template ?
Hi. If you do Save as you need to go into Program files>Notion3>Support. Then scroll down to Templates and save in there. You may need to start Notion again for the program to "see" the new file. It should now be in New from template Colin

Re: Change Port B, C, D
Hi,
If you go into File>Preferences and click on the Midi tab you can then set all four ports to whichever output device you like.

Re: I dare you to write this for piano
Hi Emilio, I agree that the triplets thing could be tidied up a bit. I find it frustrating to try to put three separate notes as a triplet only for two to become a chord. You have to move the notes quite a way from each other. however I did manage to write the bar in your post. What I did (as I do e...

Re: Asio4all and Notion 3
Hi, You have to make sure that asio4all is not sharing your output port. The main culprit is the microsoft gs wavetable sw synth. Go to File>preferences and click on the midi tab. Ensure that midi output ports are all saying none (click on the drop down arrow. Hope this helps. Colin PS I have answer...

Re: Small Gray dot
Hi. It sounds like it is the staccato mark. You get this by pressing No 1 on the computer keyboard. Try pressing 1 again and you will get the marcato mark. Press escape to get the normal cursor.
