Re: New EWQL problem I didn't have before
Hi. It looks to me like there are two drives named in the file location C: and F:. I presume C is your main drive and F possibly your DVD/CD drive. Maybe when you did the upgrade you had your DVD in the drive so that when you opened the file it looked on the DVD. If you have since removed the DVD th...

Re: No Sound and Another problem Help, Please...
True but it does not share output with any other device. Go to http://www.asio4all.com/ and look in the FAQ's and the bottom question (or thereabouts).wcreed51 wrote:ASIO4all is an AUDIO driver, and has nothing to do with MIDI...

Re: No Sound and Another problem Help, Please...
Hi, Asio4all does not work if the microsoft GS wavetable sw synth is in use. If you go into file> preferences and click on the midi tab make sure that under midi output all are set to none. Hope that helps. On the registration issue just drop an email to Brian and they will reset things at their end...

Re: only notion2 sound set working!
Hi,
One thing to try is to tell Notion where your folder is by going into File>Preferences and clicking Audio tab and checking that the sample folder is pointing to the right location. You've probably already tried this but sometimes the simple things get overlooked.

Re: Notion's toolbar needs to be movable
Hi Mark,
If you go into View>Show> and remove the check show palette, when you go back to the score right click and the palette will appear near to where you clicked.

Re: Fermata Over Barline
Hi. Planet Windows here. The only way I could get it to work was to have notes either side of the barline and place the fermata almost between the barline and the note(s) to the right. It then clicked into place over the barline. It may be trial and error but it certainly doesn't work if you put the...

Re: "Save as"-problem
Everything works OK for me. I'm running Win 7. I tried it both ways, from the drop down menu in File and clicking on save as and Shift/Ctrl S. Are you on a Mac or PC?

Re: Transposition
Hi Kate, I'm not really up to speed on transposing but why not transpose to where the notes should appear on the stave without changing the clef first. Once they are where you want them go to the side bar and select treble clef (also works with the shortcut C). You are then given the option of leavi...

Re: Notion vs Protege
OMG, you are right! I can't believe they don't have those symbols. I see there is a way to achieve the same results with what is available, but I agree with you they should still be there. You should check to see if it is a feature request and if not, make it so. cheers, tim Hi Tim I have made this...

Re: Notion vs Protege
Hi . As I said it isn't a gripe just a query. I can see now the sense in not using say more than 2 dots on a note and keeping the numbers on tuplet runs when explained like the previous post. I play acoustic guitar in my church and usually follow our pianist, so playing in an orchestral setting and ...
