Re: Reduced lines stave

That's very strange. It shows up on my iPad.

Send me your email, by private message. I'll send you the picture.

Can anyone else see the picture in the post above? Does this link work?

This is what I did with the tambourine loaded. There is no way to change the clef or key signature, as far as I can tell. Is that what you're looking for?

Re: Reduced lines stave

Songbook is really just a player. You can't do any editing with it at all, so it really wouldn't be any help for this. You might do better in Notion iPad, just putting your notes on a single line in the staff, and then transferring to Finale or Notion Desktop, and changing the staff there. (I'm assu...

Re: Road to buy an iPad

Like Thorrild, I'm quite happy with a 16GB iPad. I have the retina display, and I gave my iPad 1 to my sister, who appears to have it surgically grafted to her hand. Unless you plan on storing a lot of movies, the 16 should be plenty. And I highly recommend using a stylus. I have the Kensington Virt...

Re: Cross-staff notation, slurring

I couldn't find a way to do either one.

Although I did discover that, after you enter a slur and the notes are still selected, tapping the slur icon toggles between slur above, slur below, and slur off!

Re: Working with Stylus

I'm using the Kensington, and I love it. Most of the others are almost twice the diameter. Are you enlarging the score, before using the stylus for entry? I find that's almost a necessity. Also, the gold crosshair tells you where you are. You can keep the stylus on the screen, and drag up or down to...

Re: Slurs

I was able to continue a slur to the next line, but it took a number of tries, sliding the selection box around. A finger works better than a stylus. And this was on a single line score. I haven't tried it with multiple staves. I also had no problem with slurring across barlines. The selection box d...

Re: iPad Version Repeats

Maybe I misunderstood the original question, then. I thought that was already a feature in NPiP, but that it was not functional, hence my question about other features that might not work.

Sorry for the problem.

Re: iPad Version Repeats

Shouldn't this sort of thing be mentioned in the Help files? Are there other aspects that don't work yet?

Re: Courtesy Accidentals

Thanks. That shows what's in the menus, and some instructions.

But where are the basics? For example, where is the process of adding accidentals described, that hoplock and I just discussed? I stumbled on it. Or tuplets? Or ties and slurs?
