Re: Instrument change loose transpse
If I try to do the same with a transposing instrument (ex.: English Horn), at the point where I insert the change the staff returns "in C" (also in "Transposed" view). Why?!?!?.. The "Staff Setting" will always remain the same as it was set at the beginning of the scor...

Re: accel and rit not working constantly
I have a metronome mark at the beginning of the score. Quarter note = 120. I go to the place where I want the slowdown and hit the r key. I get the text box and I type in 80. I then get a rit. where I wanted it and another text box pops up. I type in 120 hit enter and the cursor changes into the me...

Re: Going to buy a new Sting Library. Considering LASS...?
To open an Notion 4 (64bit) EWQLSO from the template goto:
FILE > NEW FROM TEMPLATE > EWQL Full Orchestra
,Johnny
The full orchestra loads here with only 8GB but!! I only have 15% memory leftover. But it works I'm happy to say.

Re: Going to buy a new Sting Library. Considering LASS...?
Mark, Until a new computer is an option_  for what it's worth you can "Bounce" the audio down of a small group of your EWQL instrument staves down and attach them to a staff. Then you could still add, edit and playback a quasi mix of the work. Just don't load a section into memory. (...

Re: How to import MIDI to an already existing song?
GhettoBlaster, I'm sorry if I seem mean! I'm not! Terminology can makes it easier to answer and solve questions. I'm not the smartest. So anything I can do or get to help myself I welcome. When I was new to Notion software I made it a point to not get too involved in my own music projects at first. ...

Re: Going to buy a new Sting Library. Considering LASS...?
If 96khz samples libraries and more signal processing were in this topic I would then agree with the need for more memory and processing power " A new computer ". However with 44Khz samples the EWQLSO 100GB+ library is manageable on older computers if the data streaming requirements are me...

Re: Going to buy a new Sting Library. Considering LASS...?
Or do you mean that the articulations aren't supported because the settings file doesn't exist for it within notion? Mark, You are exactly right. Notion uses scripting (XML) to access all the multitude of sample articulations and playing techniques. In other words you write the music and Notion sof...

Re: Harpsichord doesn't play trills!
You found a bug! That's an important feature to forget to check before releasing it to the public. The Harpsichord was a free instrument added I believe either Christmas 2013 or 2014. I can't remember. Anyway it would be nice if you brought this issue to the attention of Notion support by email or p...

Re: Note Input Using Only Computer Keyboard
In Notion the computer mouse plays a major part in selecting a staff, notes and most score staff objects. There isn't any other way to focus the cursor to objects in different systems without clicking into the field you wish to edit, add or delete items from. It is what it is and since excepting the...
