Re: Download bundles

The instruments not included in the "bundled" instruments are not updated, so you shouldn't need to download them. This is a known issue and we're going to have a fix for it in the next build (coming soon!!) Don't have any good suggestions for this...... Thanks for those responses. I was ...

Download bundles

Hi, Notion Folks. Thanks for the update. Things installed fine for me. I see that there is a download bundle for woodwinds, strings and brass, but the percussion instruments seem to have no bundle. It looks to be about 30 instruments that must be downloaded one at a time. Will a bundle be made for t...

Re: Seeking more guitar advice

Thanks. Yes, I tried arpeggios, but for reasonably fast notes, it was a complete disaster - didn't sound good at all. If it was just one chord per bar, it would work, but not for a rhythm section. Oh, but I didn't try "let ring." Maybe I'll play with that.

Seeking more guitar advice

Hi. I'm trying to add a rhythmic acoustic guitar part to an orchestral score, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can simulate a realistic rhythmical guitar strumming in Notion 3. I'm not talking about how to notate it for a real guitarist - just how to make it SOUND decent in Notion. ...

Re: Copy/paste between multi-voice tracks

I wondered the same thing. Somehow, I doubt it's possible.

Re: Expansion Sounds

Damn! I should have tried that too! It was a bit disappointing that all the N2 expansion kits I bought didn't get a whole lot of mileage.

Re: Expansion Sounds

I could be wrong about this, but my understanding is that if you bought Notion 2 expansion kits, you would eventually receive the files that enable you to play those extra Notion 2 (not 3) sounds within Notion 3. This is what happened with me - they sent me an email, and I downloaded the files (Harp...

Re: The new expansion kits - anybody got them?

Thanks. I tried that, and it did seem like it installed the file. It then asks me for a license code, and I enter my Notion 3 license code, which is the only code I have, and click on "Receive Code." Then it gives me the contradictory message "Thank you, your software is now activated...
