This is a known problem. I posted a suggested workaround by using the XML import.

Re: midi import
I use a workaround for the poor midi import problem of Notion. The XML import seems to be much better. So, download the free program MuseScore http://www.musescore.org/ and import your midi and export it as XML. Then import the XML into Notion. The drum parts still translate poorly, but at least the...

Re: Notion's MIDI import seems to be really poor
Hi everyone, While waiting for an update, I'd like to underline what I believe is a major lack in the present release, unless I've missed something in the user guide : the ability to dispatch notations between the upper and lower staves of a grand staff, after a midi import and with the choice of t...

Re: Notion 3.0.3
Thank you for the update.
Rewire is working with vocaloid in the new update.
It would be appreciated if Notion can give us a read me file so we can see what changes made it to the updates.

Flute flutter-tongue
This may sound like a stupid question to some. I got myself stuck here. I want to use the flutter-tongue technique, but only on some parts where the effect is appropriate - not everywhere, but please tell me how do I cancel the flutter-tongue after starting it. Here's a typical example where I want ...

Re: Notion 3 Learning Curve
For me, the learning curve was pretty fast. I worked trough the manual from first to last page when I got Notion. It took me a few hours at most on a Saturday. I surely do not remember exactly where to find everything, but I know how to find it and how to get help now. At least, on the second day I ...
