Re: Notion 3 is Extremely Buggy!!
[quote="tenorman"]I'm having quite a few problems: Firstly, breath marks cause the playback to hang and not playback in time. - Well, that's what breathe marks do. I would use use slurs for separating phrases, in my experience that's what most players expect, anyway. Secondly, the Solo fea...

Re: VSL Ensemble Pro orchestral template
It is very hard to share templates, because they are highly individual, mostly because of different sample libraries used. My template has 120 tracks using at least a dozen libraries, I would highly doubt that you have all of these, too. I have however written a tutorial on how to set up a template ...

Re: Does Notion work with Linux?
No, not as far as I know.
As a notation application for Linux I only know TuxGuitar (sort of) and MuseScore.
And of course Lilypond and the likes, but they require a PhD in computer science

Re: Couple of quick questions
Well, I think that this more or less one of these "corporate secrets" things. If they tell you and then are not able to make the date, you could sue them. People actually do. Just think of the cat in the microwave oven (the lade did not now that it was forbidden to put her cat into it!!!!)...

Re: support for au plugins?
Add my vote to this.
I usually only install AU versions of plugins since I use Logic and Mixbus exclusively.

Re: Problems with Notion 3.250 on macosx 10.6.2.
Don't panic.. I'm not a native speaker myself, so no need for apologies
As to your problem:
This sounds like some issue with the osx quartz layer. Are you on 10.6.2? If not, update to it (or to 10.5.8 depending).

Re: N3 and EWQLSO performance
One of the problems is that Notion is only 32 bit, which means it can only adress about 1.6gb of Ram. After that it crashes.
So far I have managed to (MacPro 2.8, 10gb) play back without glitches, but I had several crashes when going over that limit.

Re: Problems with Notion 3.250 on macosx 10.6.2.
I never encountered this. Try reinstalling Notion, maybe this helps.
Also have a look in the console wether or not there are any error messages visible.
