Re: Unable to use N3 as Rewire slave

You're welcome :)
Glad to be of service. I, too think that forums are a great way of users helping other users and eliminating countless support calls.

Re: Unable to use N3 as Rewire slave

Ok, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. I misremembered the folders. The file NotionDevice.bundle should be in the MacOS folder inside the Notion application bundle. This file has to be copied (make a copy, do not move it) to root:Library:Application Support:Propellerhead Software:ReWire Try this and dutif...

Re: Midi Import of Controllers?

I think it currectly does not import CC values, but the whole MIDI import is in a state very similar to my flat when I am writing term papers, so again I would advise waiting a bit. Lubo has stated that they are trying to get a fix out at the end of December.

Re: Manual CC Entry in Sequencer Staff?

Yep, this is described in one of the excellect tutorials over at YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/user/NOTIONMusic ... BN3fe3y3Go
Here Lubu uses the Sequencer Stall to enter Modwheel data, but you can use any CC you like.

Re: Unable to use N3 as Rewire slave

It may be at another place in the Notion application. Right now I don't have any Notion near me, so I can't find out.

You will never find these files via spotlight because they are inside an .app, where Spotlight does not look :)

Re: Unable to use N3 as Rewire slave

I actually don't know wether or not this has anything to do with ReWire.
But we'll try it step by step: Open the Notion3 bundle. In the frameworks folder you should find NotionRewire.bundle. Move this to :Library:Application Support:Propellerhead Software
Then N3 should show up in Notion.

Re: N3 Quits When I Try to Enable Kontakt 2

That's nice from Steve!

You could send the crash report to the Notion Tech Support, maybe they can help you.

Re: Unable to use N3 as Rewire slave

You may need to install ReWire first from the Propellerhead website. The download is located at http://www.propellerheads.se/download/files/Install_ReWire_1_7_Mac.zip I don't know why no Audio software says this in the manual^^Happened to me with lots of applications. Try installing this. I am curio...

Re: Does NOTION load a unique instance per preset?

There may be a difference with ARIA, which I don't have.
I have observed that i.e. Stylus RMX takes looooooooots of CPU cycles - I am positive that this is a bug in Stylus.
Play! behaves very good, as does Kontakt.
At last on multi-core machines, more instances are actually good :)

Re: N3 Quits When I Try to Enable Kontakt 2

Does this generic OSX error message say something useful?
