Re: Workflow screen-cast tutorials

Great stuff!

Hey Lubo, I don't suppose you'd want to share the string section from that piece in the VSTi presets video? I'd love to see how you decorated the notes to produce that sound from the Cellos and Basses. :)

Re: Can't load EWQLSO Platinum Play 64-bit VST

In other words, no we do not have to "wait for 64 bit Notion", it should be _compatible_ to run EWQL Play VSTi x64 plugin right now, yes? Notion 3 is a 32-bit application which, the company states, runs properly on 64-bit systems. Regardless of that however, you cannot load 64-bit VSTs in...

Switching types of staves between environments?

So I've heard a sample of Notion 3 using EWQLSO Platinum and it was dead sexy, but I imagine the template is probably pretty extreme. Re: EWQLSO Gold

The Play versions of Platinum and Gold have the same number of articulations - the only difference is bit depth and mic positions.
It didn't used to be that way, in the NI versions there was a Gold XP that added the missing articulations, but the Play-powered version has them all.

Re: A pre-sale question....

The answer to your question is yes, you can export to a MIDI file and you will get separate MIDI tracks per instrument as well as all the keyswitch and controller data. That is wonderful news! So I assume there's some way of my knowing which Platinum instrument each track was mapped to so I can set...

A pre-sale question....

Hey all, I'm seriously considering purchasing Notion 3, but I have a few questions: Up to this point, I've done all my work in Sonar, but I've found myself using the (really bad) score editor more and more as time goes on, and I recently saw an example of the awesome programming that went into the N...
