Re: How do you handle divisi in Notion?

I simply put one part in voice one and the second part in voice two. This often leads to stems up for part one or stems down for part 2. I suppose one could simply put in an "ossia" stave and score on that as well but that is not as common I think.

Re: Getting Rid of the Entry Pallette?

Actually, this is not quite accurate. I find that one must double-click on the second tier of the palette and THEN press [ESC] to hide the floating palette. This should be made easier to do since the double-click on a specific part of the floating palette is too much like a trick move.

Quicktime instrument usage?

I have just received Notion 3 and it is taking me some time to figure out just how it can be used in my work flow. One thing I wanted to do was to use some Quicktime instruments (OSX) for playback since I use the results as a comp for clients. Just how does one incorporate Quicktime instruments into...

Re: 2-byte fonts in lyrics?

Well Mr. P, realize then that if Notion can handle such well, then it is an unique attribute at this time. Sibelius handles such VERY slowly, sometimes bombs and is unusable (OSX). Overture can handle this fairly well if one types directly into the score but misses all of the underscore dashes if on...

2-byte fonts in lyrics?

I am curious: can Notion support 2-byte characters (Japanese, Korean, Chinese) in lyrics?

So far this has been a real problem.
