I just found out a way to do this! The thing with = is that you have to enter the note value first and then hit d. So even if the notes you want to change are already 1/8-notes, you still have to hit e first and then d. This will produce dotted eighth-notes.
Good news.

Re: Any way to change the time value of many notes
Select all the notes, press = (equals) and then the note value (i.e, H for Half Note). This will change all the whole notes into half notes. Alas, you can't then press = (equals) again and press D (to dot them). A slight inconsistency here. I quite like the Overture method of the applying the...

Moving entered note while still holding mouse
When I'm entering a note and holding the mouse button down. But while still holding the button down, I can't seem to move the note anymore. Is it supposed to be so or is it a bug? I would find it much easier to be still able to change the note position when still holding the button. If you click wro...

Re: Note entry - can't have note and accidental?
+1 for entering notes with accidentals with one single click (accidental appears on the same cursor with the note)

Entering staccato to selected notes
I notice that when I select many notes and hit 1, they become staccato. But when I hit 1 again, in order to access the other symbols behind 1, this doesn't work. Same with the accent button 5 - if you hit it many times, nothing happens. It should turn all the notes to staccato+accent and the other s...

Any way to change the time value of many notes
Let's say I have written few bars for a whole orchestra, all these bars contain just whole notes, but there are many of them. I suddenly decide to change these bars to 3/4. Is there any way I could select a bunch of notes and change the time value for all of then at once? In Overture you could do th...

Moving to next measure with a non-US keyboard
To produce the symbols [ and ] I have to press ALT-8 or ALT-9 (mac). However, doing this doesn's move the cursor as said in the manual, so I assume this only works on the keyboard where [ and ] come with a single button.
How can I move from measure to another with keyboard commands?

Entering notes with accidentals directly?
Is there a way to enter a sharp or a flattened note directly or do I always have to enter a note first and then sharpen it on the score?
