Re: Problems with standard notation

Hi Brian,
Just bumping this thread to ask about an update since December last year.

Any roadmap on if/when this will be fixed in a future release, or has Progression for iPad development been put on-hold while work happens on Notion for iPad?

Thanks,
Marcus

Re: Problems with standard notation

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for confirming that you can replicate the problem. Regarding the issue of guitar music being displayed one octave different you can ignore this if you are using music written for guitar. The only time this is relevant is if you have music for another instrument. It is a shame t...

Problems with standard notation

Hi Guys, I upgraded to the latest version (1.24) which resolved the playback issue on iOS - huge thanks for this. I was also delighted that the ability to toggle the fretboard/mixer to hide was added, this is a great addition to the app for playback. I realize however that I am in a minority of guit...

Re: Playback problems with IOS 5 ?

Thanks Kyle,
Look forward to trying out the new version once Apple have added to the app.store.

Expect it will be a few days given the backlog they seem to be working through.

Marcus

Playback problems with IOS 5 ?

Hi guys, I upgraded to IOS 5 yesterday, and it has been a mixed experience. Progression starts up okay, but playback has some fairly serious issues. Typically I find it works okay for the first 5 or 6 measures then the playback will star to stutter and drop out. From there on the sound will have iss...

Any way to shift or add measures for a single instrument

I recently was entering a duet and while entering the second guitar realized that I had missed out a measure near the start of the piece, so the instruments were out of sync. :( Adding a measure shifts both instruments - correctly - and copy & paste overwrites existing notes. Is there a way of a...

Re: My wish list for new features

I hope Osiris does not object to my adding to his wish list. I also find this a great application for quickly entering some tabs/notation, although my focus is almost entirely on using it to help me practice. I will enter various exercises, often duets for example and play along, aiming to improve. ...

Re: The chords I just entered won't play

I'll take a look into this and see if it's a genuine bug. -Kyle Hi Kyle, I hit this problem with Progression and agree with osiris that it appears to be related to the use of repeats. A good way to reproduce this is to open the "Beginner Exercise" sample included with the app. If you atte...
