Re: Busy, Busy, Busy...
I'm pleasantly surprised to learn that Notion 5 appears to be in the works. I was thinking the Presonus buy out would mean the Notion team was hard at work integrating Notion into Studio One, which is why things got quiet on the update front. Would be nice if both Studio One integration and Notion 5...

Re: Notion 4.0.330 ...
My guess is they're working on integrating Notion into Studio One, hence why it's been so quiet lately.
I was really hoping sustain pedal recording and cross-staff beaming would have been added by now, but the wait for those 2 features continues...

Re: Still not fixed?
Why don't you open a ticket with Notion support and send them the file(s) in question so they can look into it?

Re: Announcement: Notion Joins the Presonus Family
As both a Notion, and Studio One owner, I'm very optimistic about this. Big buy outs often have negative results for users, but I'm thinking that won't be the case here. If anything, it most certainly means Notion integration into Studio One, which is fantastic, and it could also mean more capital f...

Re: Cross bar notation
As stated in another post, it looks like the Notion dev team are concentrating less on the "playback" features of Notion that they had been, and are shifting the focus to "print/score" aspects of Notion. I'm optimistic the next few updates will address some of these long outstand...

Re: How To Hide Empty Staves
Thorrild, the approach you suggested worked. As you pointed out in your prior post however, the tempo became hidden too. I can live with it, but it's definitely an annoyance. Have you ever reported the issue directly to Notion support so they can at least get it on a list? I'd think that both Chords...

Re: How To Hide Empty Staves
Funkybot, I am using Safari, and sometimes I can see attached screenshots, other times not. I also have Firefox, and the problem exists there too. I have a sneaking feeling it's something with the forum engine, but what do I know... Your detective work seems to pay off, and I think there is a way t...

Re: How To Hide Empty Staves
Thorrid, first: thanks for your help. Second, I can't see the attachments for some reason (using Chrome). But, that said, I think I've narrowed down the issue. 1. When creating the score, I wanted to add the guitar chord diagrams above the notation 2. I tried initially to put them over the empty voc...

Re: How To Hide Empty Staves
Unfortunately, I can't figure out why it's not working, but it's not.
Seems like an easy enough feature to code (if all measures in a row of staffs are empty or contain all rests - don't show).

How To Hide Empty Staves
Ok, so I'm scoring a piano/vocal piece... The piano plays solo for 8 measures with no vocals. So I've got 4 measures per row for each instrument: 4 measures of empty treble clef for vocals, and four measures of active grand staff for the piano. On measure 9, the vocals enter and play along with the ...
