Re: Windows 8 Touch tablet and Notion 4?

Hey! My tablet is a Dell Latitude 10 - barely slow CPU but it works well. The tablet has an active digitizer (wacom pen) and I use it for the keyboard for instance. I don't have any hopes, nor would I request that the keyboard or fretboard had the right size for touch, because the Windows tablet is ...

Re: Miroslav Philharmonik Rules and Presets

I am sorry again. I won't update these rules anytime soon. I'm growingly worried about the notation issues (as a music student) than the playback, and have very little time to fix this. I've been using the LSO samples lately, with little need of Miroslav or GPO, plus I don't like the fact that JBrid...

Re: New Old School

Less is more is the callphrase in all my musical projects, as a matter of fact, in all the ventures of my life. ...i like things simple, simple, simple.

Agree with that. Although I try to use just one Simple.

Re: Notation Enhancement

I think a lot has to do with being acquired by one of the 'big boys'. Whenever this happens (in any industry) there is gonna be a period of disarray. The better the acquiring company, the shorter the time it takes. I'm taking this into account. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. The story always ...

Re: Notation Enhancement

I'm looking forward to this new version too. One thing I'm disappointed about is that cross-staff notation is coming to Notion 5, not 4. When I bought 4 I never thought this "simple" feature wouldn't be included. Also because the lack of a demo I couldn't know that. Now I have to pay for ...

Re: Busy, Busy, Busy...

I am really excited to read the news!

Although I think i'm missing something. Everyone seems to be talking about some details of these news that I can't find nowhere. Is Cross-staff really coming? Are there any other information on the ongoing works?

Re: New Old School

Hey ottoharp. Just sharing my opinion here. I mostly work in music that is to be played by real instruments, like chamber or orchestral music (so the score is priority), but I also do some arrangements or soundtracks for tv commercials that involve Midi, use of a DAW, recording and so on. What can I...

Re: Notation Enhancement

I am in the same place. I have to take my scores to Finale for further editing. The worst part is, I have to do this for very little things: the lack of cross-staff notation for piano, the lack of courtesy signature changes at the end of systems, bad design between tuplet bracket and slurs, hard to ...
