I installed Studio One when I acquired the PreSonus Firebox interface and I acquired Notion 3 a few weeks later.
So this news is certainly good news.
I wish to extend my 21 gun salute after this royal marriage...

NTempo Tutorial Score: computer keyboard
Going through my Notion3 printed documentation, I found a short tutorial bearing this exact title. I wonder where it comes from on the site. Also is there a *.NOTION file of the score ( with the NTempo scale already in place etc. ) available, as it could be handy for a friend learning the trade... T...

Re: Notion 3 Version 3.2... it's a small world
Well, Kyle, if you leaf through my quick-paced exchange of e-mails with Brian, --reminescent of a Tom Clancy Cold War thriller--, you'll find out we have yet to solve the circumstances of the demotion of my royal version of Notion 3 to an obscure sub-directory of NHC Software, on January 28 2011, in...

Re: Notion 3 Version 3.2... it's a small world
Hi Kyle Please indicate where specifics on 3.2 other than 2 elephants, 2 bears, 2 lions etc. have been published... Also, what you do not understand has been explained to you in the context of Issue 14799 PROJ=1 on 28 Jan 2011 and I quote: >> Seems problem was a new animal in the file selection chai...

Re: Notion 3 Version 3.2... it's a small world
Well, it's clearly called "Notion3 Update 3.2!" on the Notion 3 top page... Not expansion or even upgrade which might imply the cash register should be ringing. It's the second time this honourable institution pulls this type of gear-up landing short of the runway in less than a year: the ...

Re: Notion 3 Version 3.2... it's a small world
Well, maybe I triggered something I can't finish here... :-( The so-called "3.2 update" isn't documented any further than the rundown of "new" instruments. And after I installed the file and rebooted as per instructions, the version info on the Help submenu (About) remained at 3....

Notion 3 Version 3.2... it's a small world
Just as I was about to compose an octet (2 flutes, 2 clarinettes, 2 oboes and 2 bassoons) titled "Ode to Surfwhammy", version 3.2 of Notion 3 tiptoed into my system. It's a small world! Now wait till you hear my "Fanfare for the Duchess of Cambridge" on the new brass complement i...

Re: Dynamics ==> matter of opinion?
François, mon ami...when everything else fails, read instructions.
This is the essence of Thorrild's timely message. Notwithstanding philosophical considerations, there are so many things we can do with Notion.
Have a good day and many thanks, Zblogny!

Re: Dynamics ==> matter of opinion?
Actually, notation programs are completely up to the task of controlling multiple CCs, but not all through notation symbols. ...and certainly not in realtime. You say it all here: notation editors sometimes seem to work a bit better when they try to be sequencers. But if they try harder, they will ...
